Counting Your Blessings

Waking up to a blizzard on Sunday morning isn't what i would say is one of those days you jump right out of bed and say thank you for this day... Or even really want to go out in the weather. But I braved the slushy roads and made it to church. And can I say what an amazing meeting it was. Brother Anderson gave the most amazing lesson in our combined meeting. I wish I could recite word for word the things he taught, but that would be pretty impossible. All I can say is how grateful I am for this man for being prepared to convey the message that Heavenly Father wanted the young adults to hear today. I know that the messages he spoke was truly needed for the young adults in my ward. Especially me. I really should be looking at all my blessings in my life and know each day that I am loved. I know that seems really simple, but I know for me I sometimes forget that I am loved by my Heavenly Father.

2 Weeks and Counting

2 Weeks from today and I will be taking the GMAT again. Yes round 2. I am getting really nervous for it. The schools I have applied to have contacted me and requested I retake the test. My score must have been really bad... lol So this time around I have a 2 tutors. Plus trying to do things on my own. The whole on my own thing hasn't been working the best. Especially during the week. After 8 hours of work and than trying to calm down from the day, I am usually to tired and brain fried to concentrate successfully on math. Otherwise, the week has been really slow. I wish I had more exciting things to report. I have kind of realized that when you are busy with school or something that is important for the future you do kind of stop caring about dating. Although I still won't say it is an excuse not to have a social life. I have reconnected with a USU friend. That has been interesting, but I always enjoyed the good times and someone you can talk to that relates to USU.

Home Sweet Home

What a long week, and what better to end it with a trip up to Idaho. The only thing missing is my mama sita and papa. However, it is still nice to be home. My week has been very busy. Between my works pot luck (and all the cooking for it) and making sure I am getting a little business and play time in, I have been one busy girl. This next week things should calm down a little and I can concentrate more on studying for my test. I will say today has been good. After a minor nap this afternoon I was able to see my aunt and cousins and go to one of my favorites places... Gringos. I love this place, but man does it not make you smell very good. It was so fun to reminisce about things in the past and the family get togetherness. What was even nicer was to see old videos of Dustin and I in Washington with my grandma. I miss her so much. I wish she was still here with us enjoying the milestones in her grandchildrens and childrens life. But I know more than anything she is watching o

Spring has Sprung

What a beautiful day!! I am so excited for Spring to come and take away all of this cold weather. I know the ground hog said we still have winter ahead of us, but what a great day! This week has been very good. I was able to go out to dinner with Tyson to help celebrate Karina's birthday. It was so fun! Cafe Trio was amazing and I think I am going to start craving the pomodoro . Last night I was able to go to Brighton with Cerina and her crew. I can honestly say that the season is done for me. I have never fallen so much from the minute I got off the lift till i went into the lodge in defeat. The huge bruise on my leg, where the top of my water bottle that was in my side pocket, hit is sore and ugly! But had a great time and as able to talk with Cerina for awhile. Things have been going great. I have been working hard and studying for the GMAT. I am still having a hard time with my living situation choice. I feel like I have made my short term decision, I just need to inform th

Sorry to all who have been checking in and I haven't been keeping up. Things have been keeping fairly busy. I have been working on finding a new place to live, decided to retake the GMAT, and doing service. So after receiving an e-mail from USU urging me to retake the GMAT, I have decided to do so. To help me prepare for this blessed test I have actually hired a tutor for the Math section. I guess the 8+ years of not taking a math course has finally caught up with me. I need a tutor now. I have also been searching for a place to live. It is so hard! I still don't know quite what i want to do. I have an option of living with my BFF Cerina . I am still unsure on that, but need to figure out something soon. I know for most this probably seems like nothing and not a big deal, but I guess we all have our issues and how they effect you. To keep you all updated on my love life, it is going through a dry spell. No dates as of lately and those who could have been something, but as man

AHHH Sunday

I can't tell you how happy I am that today is Sunday. It has definitely been a great day of rest. Well mostly. This week has been so great and busy. I was able to spend time with my dear cousin Brittni. She was down here from Idaho with her ski club. It was so fun to hang with her and her little friends and see how much my little cousin has grown up. I can't believe I used to babysit her. She has grown up so much. This weekend I was able to take the girls out to dinner and do a little shopping. Which I didn't want to do the shopping thing (since I have no money and trying to pay off the credit card), but I was talked into going. And of course I found a cute new pair of shoes. I like them a lot and I am really excited to wear them as soon as it warms up a little more. Saturday was a big day of snowboarding up at Snowbird. What a great resort! I was able to keep up with the cousin somewhat, until those ice patches and catwalks took me down. By the end of the day I was very t
